I've absolutely adored my experience with Lindsey's VCE Tutoring. My tutor, Ella, is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, always tailoring classes to our needs, and providing insightful and detailed feedback. Her expertise and support helped me to gain confidence in my English abilities and achieve amazing results. As a STEM focused student, English was always the most daunting subject for me; however, Aurora helped me develop my writing skills and excel to a level I didn’t think I was capable of through her constant support and feedback throughout the year. I also appreciated having the flexibility to choose between in person and online classes to optimally suit my weekly schedule throughout year 12.

Lindsey was an excellent tutor who provided great resources + feedback for all my work! I was a student of Lindsey’s, and I experienced the hard work and dedication she put into teaching. Studying for all three essays of the English exam this year with Ella has been a very rewarding and interesting journey. I started my journey by discovering the company on social media, where coming in immediately I could feel classes were casual and personal to students’ learning. It was Ella’s classes that taught in depth and the one on one tutoring with Tara that really helped in my VCE journey! Though English was not my favourite nor highest scoring subject coming into Year 12, the tutors at Lindsey's VCE Tutoring completely transformed both the way I viewed English and also my abilities. This was done through their tailored lessons to you lessons, structured to help you improve on your weaknesses, as well as Lindsey's in-depth study guides and resources. Adding on to all of that, all my tutors worked tirelessly after lesson hours to answer questions and mark practice pieces. I cannot thank my tutors William Liu, William Bucknall and Lindsey Dang enough for the incredible support and mentorship they have provided which resulted in my success in English and VCE.

Highly recommend Lindsey! Before attending her lessons, my SAC scores were around C+; Lindsey has helped me achieve A+ in all subsequent SACs and a 44 study score in English (EAL), which far exceeded my expectations. I was quite lost and unsure of what the subject requires before joining Lindsey's classes. After just a few classes, I became more aware of the gap in my knowledge, and the shortcomings of the way I structure my essays. I was always excited (and slightly nervous) every time I submit an essay for feedback, knowing that Lindsey will not hesitate to provide me with her honest feedback and constructive criticism on how I can improve my expression and articulation. The red markings on my essays were not at all disheartening, instead I was challenged to improve and expand my vocabulary. The classes are always enjoyable, dynamic and engaging - I had the opportunity to meet new friends from other schools, and Lindsey manages to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for her students while being incredibly result-focused. We also regularly attend enrichment activities and group events, which help us become more inspired and also alleviate our stress and anxiety in Year 12. With Lindsey's help, I became so much more confident with my essay writing skills, and my understanding of the texts reached a new level. The resources were very helpful, especially the comparative booklet and example essays. I really enjoyed the group language analysis classes and the individual sessions because they covered a lot of specific features of argument structures, persuasive elements, and poetic techniques.

I decided to start learning with Lindsey Tutoring because I couldn't push through the 70% range. This changed as I started attending classes with Lindsey Tutoring, as I was able to greatly improve my writing skills, which inevitably led to high-end SAC results.

There was a significant amount of resources available and they were all super beneficial. Olivia was very cheerful and enthusiastic which made the lessons definitely more enjoyable. She is also still very knowledgeable and gave detailed feedback which allowed me to have a better insight into the texts and how I could further improve. I can't thank Olivia and Will enough!

Ella provided a wide range of resources which was tailored specifically to the texts we were studying and hence it was a significant help to further advance our knowledge about our texts. We tend use our lessons very efficiently, such as focusing on gaining a better understanding of the world of the text, key themes, important quotes and practice writing, which all were very helpful in preparation for the SACs and the exam. Our exam preparation was planned ahead of time, and hence it allowed us to quickly move on to our exam revision and use our time effectively.
They provided me with amazing resources and were so supportive and kind. They were also very flexible with times so there was no stress if a lesson was missed. I went from a B/B+ English student to an A+ student with the help of Ella :) I would definitely recommend receiving tuition here!

Ella explains the analysis in a great way and provides a wide range of quotes for us to use. The way she explains the ideas in the text but also refers to the Author's intentions are amazing.
The lecture that Ella conducted on 'Never let me go' and 'Things we didn't see coming' was very insightful. She provided a plethora of resources and spoke in a very concise and sophisticated manner- no rambling or anything.
I begun my journey with Lindey’s VCE Tutoring quite late into the year in order to boost my skills in my worst area of study, argument analysis, and the program has helped me tremendously! Ella’s class is very well structured and she offers insight into what VCAA examiners are looking for and amazing advice in order to make your writing stand out. Since I joined during term 4, Ella only taught me for a few weeks but her constructive criticism really transformed how I approached my writing and augmented my analyses as a whole. She’s also incredibly friendly and interactive with her students, I couldn’t recommend her more!
I found Lindsey’s tutoring website really easily online and we got started after a week of just starting up. My tutor wasn’t a teacher but also a good friend, we could crack jokes and laugh about things but we’d always get our work done. Being mates with my tutor motivated me to not just do the work but also be excited for when time for tutoring came around. My tutor specifically Michael is really easy going but is super knowledgeable and knew when it was time to work and time to laugh about. He made it really easy for me to understand year 12 English a lot better. I heavily recommend him to anyone!

I began taking English lessons with my tutor Tara Niemes, in an effort to improve my English grades, which are at a significant deficit to my other subjects, and as a result my motivation for this subject needed the assistance from a tutor outside of my school. Private '1 on 1' lessons are more specific to your needs as you, or your tutor can plan and lead the lesson accordingly, whereas in my experience with group sessions the learning material is often broader, or not really helpful to you, perhaps you already understand what is being covered. The best aspect of my lessons is having a very knowledgable, easy going and passionate tutor who is of a similar age to me. They have given me valuable insights to my texts, allowing a different perspective to the novels I am analysing. Furthermore, my tutor's feedback on practise essays always entail praise for well written paragraphs, and constructive feedback/suggestions in managable increments that motivate me to apply these in the next practise essay. Overall my experience with Tara as my tutor has been extremely positive, most importantly changing my mindset on a struggling subject which is my opinion to high achievement in any subject.

Amazing lecture!! Really well-spoken and an intricate run-down for all things comparative essay. Will be going into both the comparative SAC and exam less stressed and more equipped.
I saw advertising on TikTok about text specific lectures and was so excited! The big names in VCE lectures don't really go into detail about the texts I'm studying (Ransom and The Queen). Aurora was great and had no issues with filling us in on niche examples and topics to help us stand out in the exam. From just one hour I feel I have developed a greater understanding of comparisons to make regarding the se texts.

My friend sent me a link to this. It was for the comparisions unit for Ransom vs The Queen. The program has helped me by broadening my perspectives and interpretations and helped me highlight anything I may have missed. The best part of the tutoring lessons are the resources and ability to have all questions answered.

Signing up for the free trail and also for the comparative lecture really enriched my knowledge of the texts I'm learning in school and provided new insight.
